At Voices of the Fire Council, all Indigenous Elders are welcome. We honor ancestral wisdom, community connection, and the stories that guide future generations.
Voices of the Fire Council® is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization advancing Indigenous women’s leadership, cultural connection, and pathways to economic independence across Texas.
We serve Indigenous women over 50 who are ready to build confidence, expand their knowledge, and create long-term stability for their families while remaining rooted in ancestral wisdom and community values.
Through Elder-centered gatherings, mentorship, cultural programming, and optional self-paced educational resources, we support women who are exploring independent income opportunities and personal growth.
This is not short-term relief.
This is sustainable empowerment grounded in community.

Indigenous women over 50 often face age discrimination in the workforce, limited access to flexible income opportunities, digital skill gaps, and financial instability.
Many are caregivers, leaders, and cultural knowledge keepers, yet lack structured pathways to economic opportunity.
Your support creates those pathways.
We need your support now to sustain and grow this work.
Your gift ensures that Voices of the Fire Council can continue creating safe, community-centered spaces where culture, healing, and education come together. Without immediate support, these spaces become harder to hold.
Your contribution sustains programming and expands access to practical educational resources that directly impact our community.
Contributions support:
• Elder-led gatherings, crafting circles, and cultural storytelling
• Community connection and intergenerational healing spaces
• Optional educational resources that guide participants through the notary commissioning and Loan Signing Agent processes
• Workforce re-entry encouragement and business readiness support
• AI-powered tools that assist with independent learning and organization
As we grow, we are also developing community-based initiatives, including intergenerational home gardens that promote food security, healing, and traditional growing practices.
Every contribution strengthens cultural continuity, personal confidence, and community resilience.
Right now, your support helps us keep these spaces open and accessible for those who need them most.
$50 supports one Elder Circle gathering
$100 provides materials for cultural workshops

Give today. Help us protect this work and keep the fire burning.
Help us create spaces where stories, culture, and community come alive.
Your support is needed now to continue this work.
Your gift directly sustains foundational educational classes, mentorship, and business preparation tools for Indigenous women seeking pathways to independent income and self-sufficiency.
Whether you give monthly or one time, your contribution strengthens economic empowerment and long-term community resilience at a critical time.
Our programs provide step-by-step educational guidance on becoming a Texas notary or Loan Signing Agent. Participants are responsible for completing all state-required education, examinations, applications, and commissioning steps independently. Donor contributions help offset program costs and provide scholarship support for women who are committed to completing this journey with integrity and responsibility.
Right now, your generosity helps remove barriers and creates access where it is needed most.
Lasting change requires steady support.
Monthly donors make it possible to sustain Elder-led gatherings, expand access to educational resources, strengthen community-based initiatives, and grow long-term impact.
Even $15 per month helps build generational stability and cultural continuity.
