Acts of domestic violence continue to increase throughout the country. According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, over 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men in the U.S. have experienced a rape, physical violence and/or stalking by an intimate partner in their lifetime.
Katy has many resources to help residents avoid making the news and get help.

Both hotlines are open Monday-Thursday 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and are answered by trained advocates.
Katy Cares supports women and children experiencing situational homelessness due to violence and abuse. This local non-profit organization offers tele-chats to help those in need.
